The 2016-2017 School Year will be my third year teaching at Groesbeck Middle School. The school years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 were spent teaching seventh grade mathematics. This will also be my third year teaching in the Groesbeck Independent School District.
I will be teaching 7th Grade Writing this year. This class is designed to help students obtain skills and readiness necessary in seventh grade writing.
Before teaching in Groesbeck, I taught Sixth Grade Reading, Writing, Science and Art at Wortham Independent School District.
This year my husband, Barry, and I will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Together we have twin sons, Jackson and Zachery, who graduated from Groesbeck High School in 2015, and a daughter, Makenna, who is a freshman this year.
Our family has one dog, a Party Schnauzer, named Sadie.
I love taking photographs. I am an amateur photographer at best, but really enjoy capturing life happenings in digital format. When opportunity permits, I like to travel and spend time with my husband and children.
I love cheering for my children from the stands, in whatever event, or events, they choose to participate. (Yes, I am "That Mom!")
